Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Garah Public School.
It is a genuine privilege to be part of such a close knit and supportive school community. At Garah, we pride ourselves on knowing every student as an individual and creating a learning environment where each child feels valued, safe and supported to achieve their personal best.
As a small school, we provide personalised learning that responds to individual strengths and needs. Our multi-age classrooms build strong relationships, leadership and a shared sense of belonging.
We are committed to delivering high quality teaching with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, while also providing rich opportunities in areas such as student leadership, sport and hands on learning through initiatives like our Kitchen Garden Program. We believe in developing the whole child, supporting not only academic growth but also wellbeing, confidence and resilience.
Strong partnerships between school and home are at the heart of everything we do. We value the trust our families place in us and work closely together to ensure every student thrives.
